Stainless steel ball unhardened 5,000 mm 1.4301 G100 DIN 5401

Austenitic stainless steel in V2A quality, good mechanical properties, high toughness and corrosion resistance. In AISI 304L, the carbon content is at the lower permissible limit. The balls are supplied in passivated condition.

Fields of application

Pumps and nozzles, medical technology, food industry, aerospace, military.

Corrosion resistance

Very good in contact with organic chemical substances, oxidizing solutions, food and sterilizing solutions. Good against atmospheric corrosion and dyes. Pitting and crevice corrosion possible with warm chlorides and stress corrosion at temperatures above 60 °C. Unresistant to sulfuric acid solutions.
