Thermoset ball knobs
Thermosets are plastics whose final shape cannot be changed after curing and therefore have very high mechanical strength.
Form C: with thread (without bushing)
Form E: mit threaded bush
Colors: black glossy (matte), red glossy (only in form C)
Properties:
- High hardness and strength, no stress cracking, no absorption of odors and flavors
- Chemically resistant to water, aqueous salt solutions, dilute acids and bases, organic solvents
- Unstable to boiling water on prolonged exposure, concentrated acids and bases
Steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metal and thermoplastic materials are not included in the DIN 319 standard.
